Tracy Dearborn's Kylo earned a DCAT title by accumulating 500 points in Fast CAT events, finishing at the Kennel Club of Anne Arundel's Fast CAT event. Running 24.76 MPH, he finsihed 2019 as the 4th fastest Portuguese Water Dog for the year.

What's Fast CAT you ask? It's a timed 100-yard dash developed from Lure Coursing and Coursing Abiliity Tests.

Patti Cleary's Millie and Chris Marston's Trip earned their Rally Novice titles, and Kathy McAfee's Lilly earned two legs towards hers at the Eastern Shore Classic Rally Trials hosted by Salisbury Kennel Club. Millie and Trip also earned first legs towards Rally Intermediate. Ashley Cook's Cher also earned a leg towards Rally Intermediate with a first place finish. At the afternoon trial, 3 of 4 placements were Porties handled by Club members.

CH Shasta's Cerveja Cristal Pretqa My BFF At Metanoia,  aka Chrissy, took Best of Breed 2 days running at the Talbot Kennel Club show in Salisbury, MD.  Her handler Healther Helmer expertly handled Chrissy in the group rings for, group 4 on Wednesday and a group 2 on Thursday.  Chrissy will be competing at the Westminister Dog show in 2015.  Chrissy is proudly owned by Martha Schneider.

On November 5th at the Talbot Kennel Club all breed show in Salisbury, Riverwood's Prince of Tides aka Ripp received his Championship.  Ripp took Winners Dog and best of Winners for a 3 point Major.  Ripp's handler was Zack Helmer.  Owners are Bill and Diane Keppen.

At the Portuguese Water Dog National Specialty in Gettysburg, PA., Glenwood's Rhapsody in Blue competed for the first time in the 6 to 9 month old puppy class.  Freddie as he is called along with his breeder handler, received a second place.  Freddie is the son of GCH CH Glenwood Chuva's Doroteia, CD, RE, WWD, NA, NAJ, CGC, SROM and the younger brother of CH Glenwood Chuva's Lielahneta, RN, CGC.  Freddie is proudly owned and very much loved by David and Chris Wruck.
